What is the Finish on Full Bedroom Sets?

Our bedroom furniture sets include a durable, catalyzed conversion varnish. This finish is heat resistant, waterproof, and UV resistant. As with any wooden bedroom set, be careful to avoid scratches in the tops.

Adding Storage to Full Size Bedroom Sets

Take advantage of the wasted space under your bed. Our full-size beds are available with three different storage platform bases, each adding four spacious drawers. All platform bases eliminate the need for a box spring to support your mattress.

The first drawer platform option is a standard siderail drawer unit. This option is available on all headboard and footboard styles. The siderail sits off the floor, with two drawers on each side of the bed.

Next, we offer a deep to floor siderail drawer unit. This storage platform base also pairs with any headboard or footboard style. Like the standard siderail unit, this adds two drawers on each side of the bed. These drawers are extra deep, extending all the way to the floor.

Finally, we offer a siderail and footboard drawer unit for double beds. This unit pairs with any headboard style but must use a low footboard profile. Two drawers pull out from the footboard, with an additional drawer on each side of the bed.

All three of these storage platforms are available with any full-size bedroom furniture set. Each option allows clearance for nightstands to sit on either side of the bed without affecting the function of the drawers.

In addition to these platforms, we also offer a drawer bed that combines with a storage headboard. This bed includes six spacious drawers in the base and another six small drawers built into the sides of the headboard. The headboard also includes a bookcase style shelf, complete with an outlet for charging your devices and pullout trays for setting your drink.

The drawer bed with a storage headboard is a favorite for kids and teen bedrooms. Eliminate the need for nightstands and give your teen maximum storage from a small footprint.

Dresser Sizes for Full Size Bedroom Sets

Most bedroom sets with a full bed are for small bedrooms. Avoid overcrowding the space with a dresser that is too large to be proportionate. Most dresser widths range from 56-66 inches wide. Standard dressers are available as a low dresser, approximately 35-37" high.

All dressers are also available as a tall dresser, including an extra row of deep drawers. Tall dressers range from 44-46 inches high. All dressers have an optional matching mirror also available.

If space is especially tight, you may opt for a chest of drawers instead of a traditional dresser. Chest of drawers take advantage of vertical wall space, with an average size of 38 inches wide x 52 inches high.

Safety Features on Dressers and Chests

Our solid wood dressers and chest of drawers in certain sizes will feature a locking drawer system. This lock prevents a child from fully extending all the drawers simultaneously and risking the furniture falling forward.
