Overview
This King Bed with its tall headboard and sturdy post style is a beautiful option to highlight the roughsawn wood. We have it shown in Maple with Cocoa Light stain in a low sheen finish as part of the DCF Roughsawn Bedroom Set.
Any of our bed styles can be mixed and matched with additional set pieces and all are available in Twin, Full, Queen, King, or California King sizes. They can be built with three different under the bed storage units, as shown in additional photos. Beds without drawer units will have horizontal slats with center posts to support mattress and box springs. Beds with drawer units will have a solid wood platform for the mattress and eliminate the need for a box spring. Each bed has the option of a standard height foot board or a low foot board. The finish we use is heat resistant up to 220 degrees Fahrenheit and completely guaranteed against water rings or moisture spots, making it very durable for everyday use. It is possible to put scratches into the finish, however, so use caution with sharp objects or those with a rough, stoneware type of underside.
